Smoky Haze

Looking around I see the storm has finally passed
I got some time to just enjoy this calm
Surrounded by best friends
Every one with a smile on their face
For the last few weeks I now get my reward

Incense burns and fills the room to capacity
Sunlight shines in through the smoky haze
Tastin’ the air, the strawberry flavour tickles in my throat, I wonder
How many get to live a single day like this?

Laze in a foreign country, I’d never been before
Here for half a week now, we should be doin more
But the time we save we spend
Happy all in our own little way
For me, the best thing to bring me back to myself

Incense burns and fills the room to capacity
Sunlight shines in through the smoky haze
Tastin’ the air, the strawberry flavour tickles in my throat, I wonder
How many get to live a single day like this?

As I rise with the sun each morning
And I spend each day content
The space between me and my worries grows
By the time we leave I find that I’ve none left attached to burden me anymore

Incense burns and fills the room to capacity
Sunlight shines in through the smoky haze
Tastin’ the air, the strawberry flavour tickles in my throat, I wonder
How many get to live a single day like this?
I wonder, how many get to live a single day like this?
